by Pleasant View

Glendale police say that a man and woman are in custody after they robbed a victim of a husky puppy in May.

On May 11, just after 6 p.m. Police responded to a report of a robbery near 67th and Olive avenues.

After an investigation, police learned that a woman, Taylor Sines set up a meeting with a husky breeder to purchase one of her puppies.

During the meeting, Sines allegedly shoved the victim and left with a puppy. She fled the scene in a truck driven by the man. Police later learned the man to be Logan Niemann.

Police were granted a search warrant on the couple’s home and on Wednesday they located the stolen puppy. Police also found a second dog. Police are now looking for the owners of the other dog that was found in the home.

Police reported that the dogs were in “inhumane” conditions that were uninhabitable for an animal.

Both Sines and Niemann were arrested for aggravated robbery and animal mistreatment.

The stolen husky puppy has since been reunited with its owner.

The second dog believed to also be a stolen dog.
