This year, residents of Arizona will have an additional chance to travel to the Pacific Northwest.

In October 2024, Alaska Airlines will increase its daily departures from Portland, Oregon by more than 20. This will also include a boost in the number of nonstop flights to and from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, with a total of four flights per day.

Currently, Alaska operates three direct flights daily connecting Phoenix and Portland. For more than 20 years, Alaska has been the primary airline at Portland International Airport.

In November 2023, Allegiant Air began offering flights to Portland from Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport.

Effective October 1st, Alaska Airlines will be offering four flights per day between Phoenix and Portland, as part of an expansion of its nonstop service.

Alaska Airlines has announced a new flight to Portland, which is set to depart in the mid afternoon at approximately 3 p.m. This is in addition to their current nonstop flights from Alaska, which are currently scheduled for 7 a.m., 10 a.m., and 9 p.m. Additionally, the airline also provides connecting flights from Phoenix to Portland.

Prices for October travel on this route begin at $134 for one-way trips and are currently available for booking on alaskaair.com.

Alaska Airlines announced plans to improve its flight options by increasing the frequency of flights from Portland to various cities. Nonstop flights are offered by Alaska Airlines from Phoenix to Anchorage, Alaska; Boise, Idaho; Everett, Washington; and their headquarters in Seattle.
