The critically acclaimed Hamilton musical that debuted on Broadway in 2015 is coming to Tempe.
“Hamilton” musical will run at the ASU Gammage Theater in Tempe from June 25 to July 28, 2024. Tickets will go on sale to the public on Monday, Dec. 11, at 10 a.m., and can be obtained through the ASU Gammage website, in person at the box office at 1200 S. Forest Avenue in Tempe, or by calling 480-965-3434.
The groundbreaking production brings together elements of hip-hop, jazz, and R&B and has had a considerable impact on culture, politics, and education. It has earned an impressive collection of awards, like 11 Tony awards, a Grammy, and a Pulitzer Prize for Drama. The musical is based on the biography of Ron Chernow, with music and lyrics from songwriter and actor Lin-Manual Miranda.
Gammage at ASU has a maximum limit of six tickets per account, and their prices vary from $39.00 to $159.00, with a select few premium seats priced at $179.00. Closer to the show date, there will be a lottery for 40 seats at the cost of $10 each for all performances.
