City Of Peoria Currently Hiring Lifeguards To Staff City Pools This Summer

The City of Peoria hiring lifeguards for their city pools for the summer.

Every year the city hires many lifeguards to watch over the safety of patrons at Sunrise, Centennial and Peoria pools. Applicants will go through a 4-step interview process.

Step 1:
Obtain a Lifeguard certification
The City of Peoria is offering four StarGuard certification courses this spring.

Step 2:
Apply to be a lifeguard
View and apply for open positions at www.peoriaaz.gov/jobs.

Step 3:
Interview
The water test and interview date is Saturday, April 29 from 1-3 p.m. at Sunrise Pool, 21321 N. 86th Dr.

Step 4:
Have fun working for the City of Peoria!

Job Requirements:

-Must be at least 15 years old.
-Current American Red Cross or Starguard Lifeguarding Certification.
-Basic knowledge of computers for registration/data input.
-Water rescue and lifesaving skills. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and written.
-Customer service excellence principles.

The job is Part-time and pays $15.21/hr
