The City of Peoria is hosting a Veterans Day Ceremony, Saturday, November 11, from 8 to 9 a.m. at the Rio Vista Recreation Center, 8866 W. Thunderbird Road.
The ceremony includes the presentation of the 2023 Honor Wall additions and a flyover by the 56th Fighter Wing from Luke Air Force Base.
A reminder that all City of Peoria offices are closed November 10 in observance of Veterans Day. Peoria Public Libraries will be closed November 10 and 11. Solid Waste collection will NOT be affected by Veterans Day.
