Convertible Plunges Off Cliff Near Lost Dutchman

On Monday morning, emergency officials received an alert about a black convertible that may have driven off a cliff on State Route 88, located north of Lost Dutchman State Park.

According to authorities, the car, landed an approximately 250 feet below with one individual inside at the time of the incident.

Authorities say the driver suffered minor injuries. The cause of the crash is unknown. No additional details have been provided.

The same area was where a man was discovered dead in a vehicle on January 16, after the vehicle had driven off a cliff.
