Firehouse Subs franchisee plans to open restaurant on Happy Valley Road.
Art Jimenez, Arizona’s Firehouse Subs franchisee currently has five locations around the Phoenix metropolitan area and construction is underway for a sixth restaurant at an unspecified address on Happy Valley Road.
The Pleasant View community can only hope the new addition will be close to the popular four corners area.
Firehouse Subs was founded 30 years ago, by Chris and Robin Sorensen. Their goal was to create their family’s entrepreneurial legacy while honoring fire and police service.
Firehouse Subs is more than just a restaurant. The company donates a portion of the profits from all of their 1,200 locations to the philanthropic division of the company, Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation. The nonprofit provides lifesaving equipment to first responders.
Since its inception, the Foundation has granted over $75 million to provide equipment, training, and support to hometown heroes.
