Join the Peoria Fire Department’s Citizen’s Academy

The Peoria Fire Department is now accepting applications for the 2023 Citizen’s Academy.

The Citizen’s Academy is an interactive course that provides participants an opportunity to learn about the inner workings of the fire department, including how a call comes in to the 911 dispatch center, as well the fire department trucks, gear, equipment and more.

Classes begin on October 5 and will run for 5 weeks. Interested applicants can apply online at www.peoriaaz.gov/fire and click on Citizen’s Academy or email david.arreguin@peoriaaz.gov.
