Mayor Beck To Kick Off Peoria’s State of the City Address on April 3

Join Peoria Mayor Jason Beck as he shares the city’s most recent accomplishments and provides the path to continued success at the State of the City Kick-off Event, Wednesday, April 3, 2024.

The event will take place at Christ’s Church of the Valley – Peoria, 7007 W. Happy Valley Road, beginning at 6:30 p.m. A dinner will follow the presentation.

The program will begin with a State of the City video featuring a high-level view of the most significant achievements over the past year based on the City Council’s priorities of Public Safety, Water Security, Economic Development, and Education.

“In my first year as mayor, we’ve accomplished so many important things and I can’t wait to share our story with the public,” said Mayor Beck. “I’m proud of the work we’ve achieved and look forward to an even brighter future for our residents and business community.”

In addition to the large public event, Mayor Beck has scheduled more informal public “Community Conversation” visits at the following locations:

  • April 8 at 10 a.m. at the Peoria Community Center, 8335 W. Jefferson Street
  • April 10 at 10 a.m. at Westbrook Village- Lakes Ballroom, 19251 N. Westbrook Parkway

At the Community Conversations, Mayor Beck will feature the State of the City video and engage with attendees on things that they want to talk about regarding their city, from public safety to economic development and more.
