New Businesses Coming To North Peoria

The Trailhead – Located at 83rd Avenue and Happy Valley Road

Safeway will be the large anchor store in this new development. The grocery store is projected to open in September.

For many years, residents in the area have been hoping for Chick-Fil-A to come to this part of Peoria. Recent news is that Chick-Fil-A is on the list to be tentatively added to this new development

You can also expect an Einstein’s Bagel to open, they too have been added as a tentative brand coming to North Peoria.

Additional fast food options planned to open are Starbucks, McDonald’s, and Robeks Juice.

Tacos & Craft has been confirmed as one of the restaurants in the center. This brand offers scratch-made tacos and craft beer.

The Sparrow is the second confirmed restaurant that will open and is set to serve up a new American-themed concept from the creators of Squid Ink.

83 Marketplace
Just across the street from The Trailhead, it has been announced that Seven Brother Burgers is going in the former space of The Dexter. You can read about Seven Brother Burgers here.

Four Corners
Construction on Raising Cane’s is coming along nicely. The restaurant is expected to open within 6 months.

Capriotti’s construction is also underway at the end of an existing complex that houses Lakeside Bar & Grill.

In-N-Out, Cinnaholic, European Wax, the much anticipated Handel’s Ice Cream, and Over Easy are all set to open sometime in 2024.
Christian Brothers Automotive, Reformed Pilates, Panda Nails have also announced plans to be open for business in 2024.

In other news, Haymaker has announced a 2024 move across street to Sunrise Promenade. No word on what, if any business has plans to move into their current location.

Down the street for the Four Corners area, it sounds like the area will be getting, not one, but two hotels. Home2Suites by Hilton is scheduled to be built on the NW corner of Lake Pleasant & Jomax. And Springhill Suites by Marriott also on the NW corner of Lake Pleasant & Jomax is in the planning phase. An opening date has not yet been released.

Vistancia
Fry’s Marketplace construction is underway and is tentatively scheduled to open in the 4th quarter of 2024. And in the same shopping center, Jersey Mike’s has been a confirmed tenant.

Surrounding Peoria Neighborhoods
The opening of QT at 115th & Happy Valley is very close. Originally word had spread it was set to open on March 21st, but it has been released that the opening has been pushed back to April 11th.

Camino A Lago Marketplace near the Walmart/EOS area, both Starbucks and a One Stop Nutrition is being planned.
