Peoria Youth Citizen Police Academy

Peoria students entering 7^th or 8^th grade in the fall are invited to register for the Peoria Police AZ Youth Citizen Police Academy.

The one-week sessions take place in June:

• Peoria High School: June 3-6
• Centennial High School: June 10-13
• Sunrise Mountain High School: June 17 – 20
• Liberty High School: June 24-27
• The last day of each session will be held at the Peoria Police Department

Topics of the academy include: alcohol/DUI goggles & carts, crime scene investigations, fingerprinting, dangerous drugs education, SWAT presentation, firearms safety, equipment demos, internet & social media safety, team building, K-9 presentation, vaping, current events, and more.
