Phoenix will host a summer concert featuring The Marley Brothers, who will pay tribute to their father, the renowned reggae icon Bob Marley, with their performance of “Get Up, Stand Up”.

On September 12th, Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre will host “The Legacy Tour” featuring the Marley Brothers: Ziggy, Stephen, Julian, Ky-Mani, and Damian Marley.

The presale for the outdoor concert will begin on Tuesday, and the sale of tickets will open to the public at 10 a.m. on Friday.

The Marley Brothers have each established successful musical paths that would have made their legendary father proud. They have accumulated numerous Grammy Award nominations and victories.

A 22-city North American tour, starting on Sept. 5 in Vancouver and ending on Oct. 5 in Miami, will see them teaming up to not only showcase their own hits, but also to perform well-loved Bob Marley songs. This tour marks their first reunion in more than two decades.

The late Bob Marley’s reputation as a worldwide musical pioneer has only expanded over the years, following his passing in 1981 at the young age of 36 due to a unique type of skin cancer.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of Bob Marley’s “Legend,” a compilation of his most popular songs. Topping the charts as the best-selling reggae album ever, it features timeless tracks like “Three Little Birds,” “Jamming,” “Get Up, Stand Up,” and “Redemption Song.”

“Bob Marley: One Love,” a film based on the life of Kingsley Ben-Adir, debuted this year and quickly claimed the top spot at the box office. Reportedly the movie has amassed over $175 million worldwide.
