Last week, officials announced the opening of a new center by Centria Autism called Life Skills Autism Academy (LSAA) in Glendale.

The Glendale LSAA center spans 12,900 square feet and is situated at 5734 Glendale Ave.

Centria, a prominent company in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy, prioritizes early intervention through the use of LSAA centers. These centers offer highly intensive and specialized therapy specifically designed for children with autism.

Centria currently has a presence in 10 additional areas in Arizona, such as Tempe, Mesa, Phoenix, and Tucson, as seen on their website at https://www.centriahealthcare.com/autism/our-center. The new location in Glendale is now accepting new clients and there are plans to open more locations in the future.

According to the press release, the Chief Clinical Officer of Centria Autism, Timothy Yeager, expressed excitement for their presence in Glendale and the opportunity to provide early intensive intervention for children, filling a crucial gap in the community. He also mentioned their commitment to being a part of this community for many years to come. This statement was given in regards to the new LSAA location in Glendale.

What services does Centria Autism provide at its therapy centers?

At each of the Centria centers, customized treatment plans are provided by certified behavior analysts and behavior technicians. The team’s primary goal is to give importance to the growth of daily abilities and social conduct, which will enable children with autism to succeed in their academic, domestic, and societal environments.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that 1 in every 36 children is identified as having autism. Centria recognizes the demand for readily available behavioral therapy on a national level and is actively working towards expanding their services nationwide.

Future center expansions are scheduled for Maryland, North Carolina, Georgia, and Virginia, supplementing the current roster of operational facilities in Michigan, Indiana, Arizona, and Texas.

According to Yeager’s statement, it is important for parents to have easy access to comprehensive ABA therapy for their children. This is why we are actively expanding our presence in Arizona, a state that has traditionally lacked sufficient resources for autism therapy.
