Peoria’s newest hospital will soon be opening its doors. Reunion Rehabilitation Hospital Peoria, which will be located at 13451 N. 94th Dr., is nearing the end of its construction.

The hospital will be three stories, span 49,128-square-foot, and sit on 3.71 acres. It will have 40 patient beds, two top-of-the-line physical therapy gyms, administrative offices, and dining and kitchen spaces.

The new facility will open in the fourth quarter of 2022. When open, it will offer inpatient rehabilitation for those with debilitating illnesses and injuries and comprehensive inpatient physical-medicine rehabilitation therapies. Each rehabilitation plan will be results-oriented and individualized to fit the unique needs of each patient.

“Following our work on RRH’s Phoenix location, we’re proud to reach this milestone and move one step closer to extending these vital rehabilitation services to Peoria,” said the regional president of Adolfson & Peterson Construction Southwest, Rob Cortazzo.

“Our strong partnership with RRH throughout the Southwest and Gulf States regions has allowed us to streamline the preconstruction and construction phases. Peoria is one of many locations we are building with RRH, and we look forward to partnering on additional projects that will expand their services and serve more communities in Arizona.”

The new Peoria facility is not the only hospital Reunion Rehabilitation Hospital plans to open; they plan to open a series of inpatient rehabilitation facilities across the country. For instance, they are building a 47,000 square-foot hospital in Englewood, Colorado; a 51,000-square-foot hospital in Phoenix; a 55,617-square-foot hospital in Plano, Texas; and a 50,800-square-foot hospital in Arlington, Texas.

“We are excited to continue our partnership with AP to establish another state-of-the-art Reunion Rehabilitation facility for Arizona patients leaving acute hospital settings. We believe this hospital will set a new standard for the treatment of patients with complex medical needs, allowing them to heal and recover in a comfortable, soothing environment. We are committed to leading the way toward best-in-class, individualized patient care in a competitive and niche market and we are humbled by this opportunity to build long-lasting relationships in the Peoria community,” said Anis Sabeti, Reunion board member.
