Woman Injured In Early Morning Road-Rage Shooting in West Phoenix

A road-rage shooting that has shut down a west Phoenix freeway Tuesday morning has left a woman with serious injuries.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety is reporting that a woman was the passenger of a car that was shot on the Interstate 10 and 91st Avenue off-ramp. The woman was treated taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

DPS has not released any information on a suspect and the scene is still under investigation. The westbound lanes of I-10 are closed at 75th Avenue. Officials have not released details on when they expect the road will reopen.
