On Saturday, a home in Glendale was engulfed in flames, according to fire officials, and four people were displaced as a result of the blaze, which officials believe may have been caused by an electric scooter.

At 10:30 p.m. Saturday, the Glendale Fire Department posted on social media that crews had been dispatched to a garage fire nearby the intersection of 59th Avenue and Loop 101 Agua Fria Freeway.

Glendale Fire reported that Phoenix and Glendale personnel worked in tandem to swiftly clear the residence and fiercely battle the flames. It is believed that the fire was caused by an electric scooter and spread to an electric/hybrid automobile.

The Glendale Battalion chief truck utilized a pulley to remove the car from the garage, allowing fire crews to extinguish the flames without risking being near the collapsed roof, according to fire personnel.

It was reported that no one was hurt.
