Brock Higley
A worker from the Cartwright School District in Peoria, has been taken into custody for accusations of committing sexual offenses following an incident.
According to Peoria police, a 26-year-old man named Brock Higley was taken into custody for exposing himself to a 17-year-old employee at Dutch Bros. on Saturday.
The incident occurred in the area of 83rd Avenue and Thunderbird Road at approximately 10 in the morning.
Police arrested Higley at his home on Sunday.
The Cartwright School District released the following statement:
“The Cartwright School District learned today that a district office employee, Brock Higley, was arrested by local law enforcement authorities in Peoria related to an alleged incident happening this past weekend and unrelated to his work duties in our school district. The employee is not assigned to work duties in any school or classroom. The employee has been placed on administrative leave pending further investigation by the District and local authorities. The safety and security of Cartwright students is the district’s top priority.”
The investigation is still in progress and it is uncertain if there were any additional individuals affected.
Higley faces one count of indecent exposure.
