Peoria Gas Station Sells Winning Powerball Tickets with 5-Figure Payout

by Pleasant View

In recent lotto draws, two individuals from Arizona were lucky enough to win payouts of over $10,000.

A winning Mega Millions ticket worth $30,000 was purchased at a gas station in Cottonwood, while a Powerball ticket sold at a gas station in Peoria won $50,000.

The Powerball winning ticket was purchased at the Shell gas station located on Lake Pleasant Parkway, south of Happy Valley Road. The ticket successfully matched four out of the five drawn white numbers on Saturday, which were 30, 36, 49, 52, and 63, along with the red Powerball number 16.

The ticket for Mega Millions was bought at the 76 Cottonwood located at 1475 State Route 260. It successfully matched four out of the five white numbers that were drawn on Friday – 19, 20, 22, 47, 58 – in addition to the golden Mega Ball number of 1.

The total amount of $10,000 was initially won by the player, but it was tripled due to the inclusion of the $1 Megaplier option in the entry. The Megaplier has the ability to increase non-jackpot winnings by a factor of two, three, four, or five. The specific multiplier for each drawing is randomly selected beforehand.

The upcoming Mega Millions drawing on Tuesday is expected to have a jackpot of approximately $735 million, while the top prize for the Powerball drawing on Wednesday is estimated to be $559 million.

Drawings for Mega Millions take place twice a week, specifically on Tuesdays and Saturdays. On the other hand, Powerball drawings occur on three different days: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
