A beverage drive-thru concept, Swig is adding a location to the Northwest part of the valley.
Utah-based Swig has set their eyes on Peoria and plans to bring their delectable drinks to customers in early 2024. The new location is slated to be at the northwest corner of 83rd Avenue and Cactus Road.
Last month, the Peoria Planning and Zoning Commission approved a conditional-use permit for the new drive-thru. Swig currently has three locations in the valley, Gilbert, Mesa, and their newest location in Phoenix located near Tatum and Shea Boulevard, that usually has a long line of eager customers waiting to order their favorite soda concoctions.
If you plan to go, at Swig you won’t find just your typical traditional sodas. Their menu consists of a wide variety of customized beverages that allows customers to add a variety of mix ins to create their perfect beverage. The possibilities are endless. Click here for their menu.
Swig is also known for their “Dirty Soda,’ which is a soda of your choice (typically a cola, but it can also be made with root beer, citrus-flavored soda, or lemonade), cream, and flavored syrup. The original dirty soda is made with Diet Coke, heavy cream, coconut-flavored syrup, and lime.
Swig was originally founded in 2010 by Nicole Tanner in St. George, Utah, but was sold last year to the Larry H. Miller Company. Swig is currently in Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Oklahoma, and Texas. The new owner is planning to grow the brand across the county and start a franchising program.
